Basketball Recap: Mt. Vernon Has No Trouble Against Buffalo

The third road matchup was the charm for Mt. Vernon, as they earned their first road win of the season. They enjoyed a cozy 52-38 victory over the Buffalo Bison on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mountaineers also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2018.

The win got Mt. Vernon back to even at 2-2. As for Buffalo, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Vernon will be home for the holidays to greet Forsyth at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Buffalo, they will welcome Skyline at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
