Basketball Recap: Memorial Takes a Loss

Memorial played a tough contest on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Minster Wildcats, falling 60-34. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Roughriders have suffered against the Wildcats since February 11, 2017.

Memorial dropped their record down to 5-15 with the loss, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Minster, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-7.

Looking ahead, Memorial will square off against Elida at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Minster, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Wildcats duke it out with the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Minster is facing Ansonia at the right time seeing as Ansonia is stuck on a 19-game losing streak.
