Soccer Recap: New Oxford Starts Season with Victory Against York Catholic

New Oxford gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They came out on top against the York Catholic Fighting Irish by a score of 3-1. This was payback for New Oxford, who suffered a 1-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Coming up, New Oxford will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Gettysburg at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for York Catholic, they will welcome Lancaster Mennonite at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
