Bloomburg is 8-2 against Avery since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wildcats will face off against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Bloomburg will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Bloomburg came out on top against Avery back in April thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run sixth inning. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 13-6 victory. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by seven runs or more this season.

For Avery's part, Kristin Burkett was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two triples, three RBI, and one run. Those triples were Burkett's first of the season. Lyla Clark was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs.

Bloomburg pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.7 runs over those games. As for Avery, their win bumped their record up to 4-13.
