Baseball Recap: Lancaster Comes Up Short

Lancaster was the 6-1 winner over Niagara Falls when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Legends took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolverines on Saturday. Surprisingly, this marked the Legends' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Lancaster's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Niagara Falls, they pushed their record up to 18-3 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Lancaster does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Niagara Falls, they will take on Williamsville East at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wolverines 2.2, the Flames 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
