Softball Recap: Agape Christian Comes Up Short

Agape Christian managed to slip by Carrier Mills-Stonefort the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Agape Christian came up short against Carrier Mills-Stonefort on Monday, falling 21-11. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

McKenlee Miller was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs while going 1-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddison Richard, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Agape Christian and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Carrier Mills-Stonefort, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Agape Christian will square off against Egyptian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Agape Christian is facing Egyptian at the right time seeing as Egyptian is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Carrier Mills-Stonefort, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Pope County at 4:30 p.m. on April 8.
