Basketball Game Preview: Green Hope Falcons vs. Green Level Gators

The Green Hope Falcons will venture away from home to square off against the Green Level Gators at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Green Hope is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.4 points per game this season.

Green Hope came up short against Panther Creek on Tuesday, falling 64-43. The game marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Kody Frey, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Knox Frey, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 13 points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Green Level, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They blew past Holly Springs 76-33 on Tuesday. That 43 point margin sets a new team best for the Gators this season.

Green Level pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points per game. As for Green Hope, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.

Green Hope was dealt a bruising 78-48 loss at the hands of Green Level in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Green Hope was down 45-21.
