Baseball Recap: Oakridge Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Oakridge's offense. They fell just short of the Whitehall Vikings by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Vikings earlier this season, when they won 5-4.

Oakridge saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logen Huston, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Oakridge has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13-1 record this season. As for Whitehall, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-13.

While Oakridge had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
