Santana has gone a perfect 10-0 against Valhalla recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Sultans will be playing at home against the Norsemen at 4:00 p.m. Santana is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.

On Friday, Santana came up short against West Hills and fell 8-5. The Sultans have struggled against the Wolf Pack recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Emma Schneider made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynn Warren, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and three RBI.

Meanwhile, Valhalla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of Coronado.

Devyn Mack spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and four unearned) runs on seven hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Natalia Marco was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. She also hit a triple, marking her first of the season. Preslee Fink was another key player, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Santana's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Valhalla, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-19.

Everything went Santana's way against Valhalla in their previous meeting back in April, as Santana made off with an 8-0 victory. Will the Sultans repeat their success, or do the Norsemen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
