Football Recap: Kannon Seipp and Dawson Deatherage Lead the Defense for Triad Win + How To Watch

Highland came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Triad, but John Holloway wouldn't allow it. The Knights blew past the Bulldogs 42-22 on Friday thanks in part to Holloway, who rushed for 189 yards and three TDs while picking up 9.0 yards per carry, and also threw for 154 yards and a pair of touchdowns. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.

Triad didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kannon Seipp and Dawson Deatherage.

When it comes to explaining why Highland lost, don't look at Blake Gelly. Despite the final result, he threw for 75 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 40 yards.
