Westwood waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Princeton Eagles. This was payback for the Lumberjacks, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Westwood had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-19, 25-20, 25-21.

Reagan Baehler paced Westwood's offense, picking up 15 kills. Baehler got some help from Mayzee Robinson and her 21 assists. Elaina Strand controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

When it comes to explaining why Princeton lost, don't look at Jenna Silva. Despite the final result, she had 12 digs, five kills, and two aces. Silva has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Westwood's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Princeton, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-16.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Westwood will challenge rival Plumas Charter at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Princeton is set to square off against their familiar foe Elk Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
