            Volleyball Recap: Bear Creek Bears vs. ThunderRidge Grizzlies        
        
		
        
        
            Bear Creek came into Tuesday's   game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  3-2  victory over the ThunderRidge Grizzlies  on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Bears have posted  since March 13th.
 If you add up the scores from across all five sets (102-101) Bear Creek actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 13-25, 23-25, 25-20,  15-13.
 Lachlan Hotchkiss paced Bear Creek's offense, picking up 18 kills. Hotchkiss got some help from  Dylan Imus and his 47 assists.  Nicholas Lathrop controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Bear Creek pushed their record up to 7-9 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season. As for ThunderRidge, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.
 Bear Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  loss against Rock Canyon on the 10th. As for ThunderRidge, they have also already played their next contest,  a  3-0  win against Regis Jesuit on the 10th.
