Game recap: Hasbrouck Heights High School Football Team defeats Hopatcong

Hopatcong (N.J.) pulled ahead on a Johann Lara touchdown run, and subsequently went into halftime leading 26-14. Hasbrouck Heights (N.J.) took the lead for good with a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter.

Despite scoring six points in the third, the Aviators still trailed by six points going into the fourth quarter. But 25 points in the fourth helped Hasbrouck Heights pull out the victory.

Mike Incremona stood out for HH in the win. He ran for one touchdown. He has now scored 14 touchdowns on the season.

The Chiefs came in allowing just 15.1 points per game this season. Hopatcong struggled against Hasbrouck Heights' offense, who entered the game scoring 43.1 points per game.

The defeat comes as a step back for Hopatcong, which notched a 36-21 victory over Wallkill Valley in its previous outing.
