Volleyball Recap: Carlmont Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

Carlmont entered their tilt with Burlingame on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 3-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Carlmont was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-22, 23-25, 26-24.

Carlmont found their leader in sophomore Orion Gurskis, who had eight digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Gurskis.

Carlmont pushed their record up to 21-15 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Burlingame, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-7.
