            Volleyball Recap: Lindbergh Flyers vs. Kirkwood Pioneers        
        
		
        
        
            Lindbergh was the  3-0 winner over Kirkwood when they last played one another  last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Flyers fell  2-0 to the Pioneers on Saturday. The Flyers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
 Lindbergh was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the  first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22,  25-17.
 Marlee Steiner paced Lindbergh's offense, picking up four kills. Steiner got some help from  Vera Stremlau and her eight assists.
Lindbergh now  has a losing record of 11-12-1. As for Kirkwood, they pushed their record up to 18-11-1 with the  win, which was their third straight  at home.
 Lindbergh wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  3-0  victory against Northwest on the 13th. As for Kirkwood, they have also already played their next match,  a  3-0  win against Pattonville on the 13th.
