Baseball Game Preview: Roosevelt Mustangs vs. Santiago Sharks

For the second straight game, Roosevelt will face off against Santiago. The Mustangs will head out to challenge the Sharks at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Roosevelt's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Santiago's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Roosevelt is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Santiago just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sharks.

Santiago is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Roosevelt, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.
