Volleyball Recap: Hillside Comes Up Short

Hillside lost against NCSSM: Durham back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hornets came up short against the Unicorns, falling 3-0. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-19, 25-7.

Hillside's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for NCSSM: Durham, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hillside will venture away from home to face off against Durham School of the Arts at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for NCSSM: Durham, they will challenge Enloe at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
