Basketball Recap: Hueytown Takes a Loss

Hueytown and Chelsea squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Hueytown had to settle for second. They were dealt a 63-34 loss at the hands of the Chelsea Hornets. The defeat continues a trend for the Golden Gophers in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now lost four in a row.

Hueytown's loss dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Chelsea, the win was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 25-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Chelsea beat Hueytown by a score of 63-34 on Thursday.
