Football Recap: Wellsville Takes a Loss

If Wellsville was feeling good fresh off their 25-0 takedown of Varsity Opponent on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles lost 32-7 to Varsity Opponent on Wednesday. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Varsity Opponent earlier this season, when they won 25-0.

Wellsville's loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Varsity Opponent will take on Northside Methodist Academy at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Wellsville will be paying especially close attention to Varsity Opponent's matchup: after Varsity Opponent face off against North Central, they'll take on Wellsville again at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
