After a string of four wins, Anderson HomeSchool's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 59-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Metro Blazers. The SONS were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Blazers earlier this season, when they won 66-51.
Several SONS players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Clark Emly, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Looper, who posted nine points.
Even though they lost, Anderson HomeSchool was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. This was only their seventh loss (out of 27 games) when they've passed the ball that well.
Anderson HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 22-16. As for North Metro, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
