Volleyball Recap: New Holstein Huskies vs. Plymouth Panthers
New Holstein was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Plymouth Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Huskies of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.
Makenna Bink paced New Holstein's offense, picking up four kills. Bink were helped by Reese Kraus and Addison Haensgen, who contributed four assists each. Haensgen was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
New Holstein's loss dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Plymouth, their win bumped their record up to 13-16.
New Holstein didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Milwaukee King on the 4th. As for Plymouth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Sheboygan Falls on the 4th.
