Ottawa waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Coal City Coalers as they made off with a 17-5 victory. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.

Ottawa's win bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Coal City, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 16-14.

Coincidentally, Ottawa and Coal City will both be playing Morris the next time they take the field. The Pirates will host the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Coalers will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
