Recap: Peddie Falcons vs. Hill School Rams
The Peddie Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. The New Year welcomed they with a 60-10 whooping from Hill School. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Peddie has scored all season.
Hill School was led to victory by Lily Soller and Kayleigh Ludwig. Soller scored ten points along with six rebounds, while Ludwig scored 15 points along with three steals. The contest was Soller's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Stielau, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Peddie bumped their record down to 1-5 with that loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.0 points per game. As for Hill School, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-9 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peddie will take on Blair Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hill School, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Perkiomen School at 5:30 p.m. Perkiomen School will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 165th, while Hill School is ranked 21st).
