The Sulphur Golden Tors will take on the Kinder Yellowjackets at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
On Tuesday, Sulphur made easy work of Barbe and carried off a 13-3 victory. The Golden Tors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Pressy White made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. White was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Mariah Davis was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Keely LaBove was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run.
Sulphur lost a few balls and finished the game with five home runs. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their home run total in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Kinder sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over Barbe on Monday.
Brianna Fontenot spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Kinder let Sophie LeBoeuf and Aubrey May run wild. LeBoeuf scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4, while May scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Kinder pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Sulphur, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
