Volleyball Recap: Rolla Takes a Loss

Rolla lost against Moscow two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Pirates fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1.

Rolla started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-17, 25-22.

Rolla has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Moscow, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-10.

Rolla wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Guymon on the 29th. As for Moscow, they have also already played their next match, a 0-0 draw against Minneola on the 4th.
