Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Franklin Academy walked away with it. Their defense stepped up to hand the Massena Raiders a 3-0 shutout on Thursday. The result was nothing new for Franklin Academy, who have now won eight matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Massena with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Bradley Poupore, Johnny Scharf, and Ryan Hesseltine.

The win made it two in a row for Franklin Academy and bumps their season record up to 14-3. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored seven goals over those two contests. As for Massena, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

As of now, neither Franklin Academy nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
