Basketball Recap: Lacrosse Finds Home Court Redemption Against Dighton

There's no place like home for LaCrosse, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They managed a 38-33 victory over the Dighton Hornets on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Leopards also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Molly Showalter continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 6 for 14 on her way to 16 points and six rebounds. Madison Morgan was another key player, putting up four points along with eight rebounds, five assists, and five steals.

LaCrosse now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Dighton, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 3-2.

After both having extra time off, LaCrosse and Lincoln will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Dighton will take on Wallace County in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Wallace County will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Dighton surely won't give up without a fight.
