Port Washington hadn't done well against Cedarburg recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Pirates came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 4-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). This was payback for the Pirates, who suffered a 7-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Port Washington's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Austin Johnson, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

The victory snapped Port Washington's losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 5-9 record. As for Cedarburg, they dropped their record down to 4-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
