Basketball Game Preview: Greenbrier Wolfpack vs. Effingham County Rebels

The Greenbrier Wolfpack will challenge the Effingham County Rebels at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Greenbrier came up short against Evans and fell 43-34. While losing is never fun, the Wolfpack can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 281st, while the Knights are ranked 75th).

Meanwhile, Effingham County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They lost 58-35 to Evans.

Greenbrier's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Effingham County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-16.

Greenbrier strolled past Effingham County in their previous meeting on January 15th by a score of 50-33. Does Greenbrier have another victory up their sleeve, or will Effingham County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
