Rice was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Scurry-Rosser Wildcats, falling 61-41. One positive for the Bulldogs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Rice's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Scurry-Rosser, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Palmer the next time they take the court. Scurry-Rosser will host Palmer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Rice will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
