While Randleman's victory against Asheboro wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Blue Comets 3-2. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Blue Comets recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Randleman was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (102-93), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 9-25, 19-25, 15-11.

Randleman's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Asheboro, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 8-1.

Coming up, Randleman will head out to challenge Central Davidson at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Asheboro, they will welcome Trinity at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
