Challis won the last time they faced Salmon and things went their way on Monday too. The Vikings walked away with a 13-8 victory over the Savages. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.
Brayden Ollar made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over 5.1 innings while giving up four earned runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one walk in ten consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases and four runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March.
