Volleyball Game Preview: St. Croix Prep Lions vs. St. Croix Lutheran Crusaders + Official Tickets

St. Croix Prep is 1-7 against St. Croix Lutheran since October of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Lions are taking a road trip to square off against the Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

St. Croix Prep is headed into the match having just posted their closest win since September 16th on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past St. Agnes 1-0.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only St. Croix Lutheran walked away with it. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Beacons on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Crusaders in their matchups with the Beacons: they've now won four in a row.

St. Croix Prep's record is now 14-7. As for St. Croix Lutheran, their record now sits at 17-8.

St. Croix Prep skirted past St. Croix Lutheran 3-2 in their previous matchup back in September. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Crusaders' Olivia Footh, who had 31 assists and 12 digs.
