Volleyball Recap: Capital Prep Falls to Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/Bulkeley in First Game of Season

Capital Prep unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/Bulkeley on Monday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it ten in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-4, 25-5.

Among those leading the charge was Kaeden Garcia, who had eight aces and three digs. Those eight aces gave him a new career-high.

Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/Bulkeley's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2.
