Basketball Recap: Aldine Comes Up Short

Aldine was the 66-53 winner over Montgomery when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs lost 54-31 to the Bears on Tuesday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aldine's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Montgomery, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Aldine will be taking part in a tournament against Hardin-Jefferson at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Montgomery, they will challenge Pasadena at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
