Jordin Thomas Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Thanks in part to Jordin Thomas, Lincoln said goodbye to their three-game losing streak. Thomas showed up in a big way on Friday, rushing for 139 yards and three touchdowns. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (101). He is becoming a predictor of Lincoln's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is 2-1 (and 1-4 when he doesn't).
Thomas might have his next game, a home matchup with Lodi, circled on his calendar. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Thomas saw the Flames), he rushed for 220 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 38 receiving yards.
