Baseball Recap: Horn Lake Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Horn Lake's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Senatobia Warriors on Friday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Horn Lake's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Senatobia, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Horn Lake will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hernando at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for Senatobia, they will head out on the road to take on Winona at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Winona has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.25 runs per game on average), something Senatobia will no doubt try to take advantage of.
