Basketball Recap: Poolville Comes Up Short

Poolville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Lipan Indians and fell 73-13. While losing is never fun, the Monarchs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1221st, while the Indians are ranked 274th).

Poolville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Lipan, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-11.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Santo the next time they take the court. Poolville will host Santo at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, while Lipan will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on January 21st.
