Basketball Recap: Moses Brown Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Moses Brown had won 16 straight home games dating back to last season and Lauren Bousquet did her part to make it 17 on Monday. The Moses Brown Quakers took their contest with ease, bagging a 63-34 victory over the East Greenwich Avengers thanks in part to Bousquet, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Moses Brown's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Vivian Stone, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game.

Moses Brown's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for East Greenwich, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Moses Brown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 71-38 victory against Classical on the 14th. East Greenwich has also already played their next game, a 41-32 win against Johnston on the 14th.
