They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Dishchii'bikoh Wildcats 55-52. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Chiefs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Mescalero Apache's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Dishchii'bikoh, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-3.
