Catholic Central won the last time they faced Triad and Keegan Guenther did his part to make sure it happened again. The Irish simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Cardinals 61-28 with plenty of help from Guenther, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 23 boards. His evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points.

Another player making a difference was Burke Wilson, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Catholic Central is 2-1 when Wilson posts ten or more boards, but 2-3 otherwise.

The victory got Catholic Central back to even at 4-4. As for Triad, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Catholic Central has already played their next game, a 54-42 loss against Cedarville on the 9th. As for Triad, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-34 defeat against Fairbanks on the 9th.
