Soccer Recap: Wakefield Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Wakefield managed to keep up with Middle Creek until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Wolverines lost 3-0 to the Mustangs. Gabriel Riehle was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Wakefield's loss dropped their record down to 3-2-1. As for Middle Creek, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wakefield will square off against South Garner at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Wakefield are facing South Garner at the right time seeing as South Garner are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Middle Creek, they will challenge Lee County at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
