Lyons scored the most runs they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Rochester Bombers. The Lions' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Lyons' defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for East Rochester, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lyons is set to square off against their familiar foe Clyde-Savannah at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, East Rochester will challenge rival Sodus at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bombers 3.7, the Spartans 1.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
