Volleyball Recap: Canyon View Jaguars vs. Willow Canyon Wildcats
Canyon View had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Willow Canyon Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. The Jaguars are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 11 straight.
Canyon View's got stronger as the match went on, holding Willow Canyon to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-16, 25-13.
Canyon View was led to victory by Simone Jones and Arabella Sharp. Jones had ten digs, while Sharp had five aces. Those five aces gave Sharp a new career-high.
Canyon View was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Willow Canyon only served six.
