Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Garland). Their defense stepped up to hand the Lakeview Centennial Patriots a 5-0 shutout on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Owls needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Their offense was hitting Lakeview Centennial from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Garland has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8-2 record this season. Lakeview Centennial's defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-17-1.
