Lake Norman put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 9-1 margin over the Butler Bulldogs. That looming 9-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Wildcats yet this season.

Lake Norman got a great performance from Caden Beaver as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Nick Mavroudis, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Christian Sandoval, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Lake Norman pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Butler, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
