Softball Recap: Peck Comes Up Short

It was a good run, but Peck unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 14-4 to the Laker Lakers. The Pirates were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lakers earlier this season, when they won 5-0.

Ryleigh Ureel made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Peck's defeat dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Laker, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

Looking ahead, Peck will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Deckerville at 4:00 p.m. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight. As for Laker, they will take on Vassar at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
