Soccer Game Preview: Macon County vs. Dooly County

Macon County is 1-9 against Dooly County since March of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Bulldogs will square off against the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Macon County fell victim to Crawford County and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 7-0 to the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Dooly County also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Worth County back in March, falling 9-0. The defeat continues a trend for Dooly County in their meetings with Worth County: they've now lost five in a row.

Dooly County's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Macon County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-14.

Macon County suffered a grim 9-0 defeat to Dooly County in their previous meeting back in February of 2025. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
