Basketball Recap: Valley Christian Comes Up Short

Valley Christian played a tough match on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 93-23 defeat at the hands of the St. Francis Christian Patriots. Valley Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 61-20.

Paul Hoffman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for St. Francis Christian, going 9 of 11 en route to 21 points and eight steals. Hoffman has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last nine times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Brahs, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 12 points and four steals.

Valley Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. Francis Christian, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
