Football Recap: Chancellor Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Chancellor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Courtland Cougars and fell 47-18. The Chargers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Nate Newton threw for 48 yards on six of 14 attempts. On the ground, Jaiden Canada rushed for 116 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries.

Chancellor's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Courtland, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
